My interest for tattoos started early, as I've been wanting one since I first layed eyes on one. My drawing skills wasn´t good from the beginning though. At the age of 16 I started to play with the idea of beeing able to draw my first tattoo by myself, and sat in my room 24 hours a day for a year or so, just drawing different tattoo designs and looking through tattoo magazines.

After a while my friends began asking me to draw their tattoos as well, and at that point my will to become a tattoo-artist started to grow really strong. So at the age of 17 I finally got my first tattoo (not one of my own designs though) and it was the greatest experience ever, I was going to be a tattoo-artist no doubt about it!

Two years later, after asking around for an aprenticeship, I found Mankan at Rough Stuff Tattoo. That was in january-98.

During my aprenticeship I also got into painting and sculpting, wich was (and still is) a great way to learn more about creating images. In may 2000 my aprenticeship were officialy over and I got employed by Mankan. I still learned alot from him after that when developing my own style. I also got my inspiration from artists such as: Guy Aitchison, Paul Booth, Filip Leu, Aaron Cain, Marcus Pacheco and Robert Hernandez.

There were many more of course but those were the most important ones to me then, and still are. Also I got the privelige (thanks to Mankan) to go over to the "Atlanta tattoo arts festival-01" and participate in a seminar held by Guy Aitchison, and also got a tattoo from him.

You could say that my style is a mix of all the above, with a twist. Organic, biomechanic and horror mostly in black and gray, but I gladly use colors as well. Portraits is also something I enjoy very much.

I stayed at "Rough stuff" for 6½ years (aprentice time included) before I decided to take some time off and only do guestspots for a while.

Now, since february -05, I run Pistolero Tattoo & Piercing with my friend Cia.
